What are the "window" schedules (if such apply), including multibody effects? *3) Transportation Systems: What shuttles, shuttle-derived high-lift vehicles, LEO-to-LLO ferries, inter-libration-point vehicles, lunar landing transports, and other transportation systems are optimal for colony space transportation requirements? wnat advanced propulsion systems (gas core nuclear reactors, laser propulsion, fusion) should be developed? *4) Transport Linear Accelerator: What is the position/velocity accuracy required of its payloads? How is this accuracy to be measured and effected? What are its structural tolerances, and their sensitivity to fatigue, thermal cycling, and lunar vibration? What are time and cost estimates for its research and development? What experiments should be performed to prove feasibility and efficiency of the concept? What are the effects of lunar mass concentrations on the payload trajectories? *5) Mass-catcher: Where, and how large, is the mass-catcher? What navigation, guidance and control, and propulsion systems does it require? What are its stationkeeping propellant requirements? Does it transport as well as catch? What happens to the :;,aylaods it does not catch? What experiments are needed to prove feasibility and efficiency of the mass-catcher? 6) Materials Availability: What are the types and quantities of materials required, and their places of availability? Can the Moon yield any hydrogen, nitrogen, or carbon? Can we mine the asteroids?
