The journal is devoted primarily to the publication of specially commissioned review articles designed to bring together under one cover current advances in aerospace sciences. The coverage of the journal has been extended to include timely reviews not onl in the fields of aero- and gas-dynamics but also in other important areas such as structures, flight mechanics, materials, vibrations, aero-elasticity, acoustics, propulsion and avionics. The editor and members of the board welcome suggestions or proposals from potential authors. A particular feature of Progress in Aerospace Sciences is its flexibility, imposing no artificial limits on the size of articles, allowing the publicatior of comprehensive reviews which will be of lasting value and interest to its readers.
