Space station designs generally include 75 kW of electrical power generated by solar photovoltaic cells. Additional electrical power, to 350 kW [6] and beyond, has been discussed. However, large area solar panels induce unacceptable drag at the proposed orbital altitudes. For example, 450 kW of solar photovoltaic power on one design produced enough drag that a propulsive reboost would have been required approximately every 36 days. Over a period of 10 years, more than 130000 kg of fuel
