Range of Distance Change Maximization Analyzing the results of the previous section one can see that the range of distance change possible depends on the amplitude distribution and value of the parameter t0. It is also clear that there is an amplitude distribution that allows the maximum range of distance change for a given value of the parameter t0. To find the optimal amplitude distribution we used an algorithm similar to that discussed in the previous section, but it was necessary to search both the coefficients z„ and yn, i.e. to involve the amplitude distribution in the optimization process. As one can see below, the maximum range of distance changes depends on the value of the collection efficiency, so it was necessary to fix this parameter in the calculations.
