Experimental Designers’ Office, “Foton”, of Dniepropetrovsk University organized this competition in the Ukraine, and Olexandr Kostyrya, a schoolboy from the small town of Mezhova in the Dniepropetrovsk region, proved to be best among the Soviet participants. We hope that future generations will subscribe to industrial development based on space solar power, and that the environment on our beautiful planet will be saved for our descendants.
