With the assumptions made it follows that the maximum eclipse time for a certain orbit solely depends on its altitude. The inclination of the orbit only determines how often this maximum eclipse time occurs during the lifetime of the satellite or Space Station. The relevant relations are illustrated in Figure 1, Figure 2 and Figure 3.
