The material optical properties that were used in analysis $re shown in Table 2.2-4. In geosynchronous orbit the thermal effects of earth emission and albedo are negligible. For reflector absorptivities of 0.15, a concentration ratio of 1.85 was used in the analysis. A solar conversion efficiency of 18 percent and a solar constant of 442 Btu/hr-ft2 also was used.
